INVISALIGN
Invisalign is the clear alternative to metal braces for adults and teens. With Invisalign, you can straighten your teeth without brackets and wires, using a series of clear, customised, removable aligners.
Invisalign is virtually invisible, so you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing, and you can still eat and drink whatever you want.
So if you're looking to transform your smile without anyone knowing, Invisalign is the clear choice!
TYPES OF INVISALIGN
INVISALIGN FULL
The Invisalign Full treatment method is used to correct more complex and severe orthodontic errors. It involves significantly more movement of teeth to achieve the patient's ideal smile.
Treatment duration: 18 - 36 months (depending on degree of misalignment)
Treatment plan: Fully customisable
Aligners: 36 on average (as many as needed to correct the teeth)
Suitable for more complex cases, such as extractions to make room for alignment.
INVISALIGN MODERATE
The Invisalign Moderate treatment is designed to fix moderate orthodontic problems, like space and crowding. This is also a common treatment after the first phase of Invisalign treatment for children and teens.
Treatment duration: 12 - 24 months
Treatment plan: Fully customisable
Aligners: 26 on average
Suitable for more moderate cases
INVISALIGN LITE
The Invisalign Lite treatment is for mild cases of misalignment, spacing and overcrowding.
Treatment duration: 3 - 12 months (depending on degree of misalignment)
Treatment plan: Fully customisable
Aligners: 10 - 14 on average
Suitable for mild cases, with no need for extractions
INVISALIGN FIRST
Invisalign First is designed for children aged 6-10 years old. It helps to straighten teeth while they are still growing. With this treatment, children may avoid the painful experiences associated with traditional braces.
Prevent existing bite problems from getting worse
Fix existing teeth-straightening issues
Improve the look and confidence of a growing child's smile
Correct oral behaviours such as thumb sucking or tongue thrusting
Removable for easy cleaning. A breeze for children to brush and floss with ease.
THE INVISALIGN PROCESS
BRACES VS INVISALIGN
BRACES
Conventional metal or ceramic braces is still the recommended option if you fall into any of these categories.
Complex teeth problems. Invisalign is not suitable for all cases. Some complex orthodontic cases with severe misalignment still require conventional braces for full correction.
Patients concerned about appearance can opt to have brackets attached on the sides of the teeth nearer the tongue though these are less comfortable.
Prefer not to have the hassle and discipline of consciously wearing removable braces for an extended period of time
More frequent dental visits, every 3 to 4 weeks
INVISALIGN
The use of clear aligners, like Invisalign is gaining popular, not without reason. Find out why more people opt for Invisalign.
Minor teeth correction required to straighten your teeth to achieve that perfect smile.
Invisalign is more aesthetically pleasing than braces. It’s almost invisible! So no one knows you are correcting your teeth to perfection.
Invisalign is removable, making it easier to eat, brush, and floss. However, you need to be disciplined and wear your aligners for 20-22 hours daily.
Fewer dental visits, between 1 to 2 months
